Coming out of the cool climate Macedon Ranges region, this Craiglee medium to full bodied chardonnay is a beautiful exercise in balance between quality French oak and pristine stone fruit flavours. The bouquet is full of white peach, cashews, and creamy, citrusy nougat aromas, while the palate is rich and complex with good balance and more of those peach and nectarine flavours. The mid-palate blends the peach with dried honey, yeast lees notes, and spicy cashews, leading to a clean, dry finish with balanced acidity. Shellfish, roast pork belly, or lightly spiced Asian dishes await. You won’t be disappointed.
