Wow, this is such a soft and layered cabernet with a plum core developed within a scented bouquet emitting fruity aromas of bramble and cassis, enhanced by dark fruit notes, black tea, liquorice and spicy vanilla oak nuances. And all for under $10. Well done Lindeman’s! The palate is medium to full bodied, where these organoleptic flavours of plum and blackcurrant are enhanced by a touch of mint, a lick of mocha and a dusting of chocolate; all further supported within a soft tannin structure. Roast lamb, peppered steak, or a baked pasta dish would serve this wine well.
Please note this wine is only available up to half dozen lots, or in a mixed dozen.
