This Rosemount shiraz has lots of those blackcurrant and plum aromas typical of the Mclaren Vale/Langhorne Creek regions of South Australia. Liquorice, black pepper, and dark chocolate notes are also apparent, while the palate is medium to full bodied with generous ripe fruit flavours of blackberry, plum and cassis. Spice and cedar flavours develop with time in the glass. Soft tannins provide structure and definition, complemented by the subtle richness of oak. Try a glass with some hard cheeses such as cheddar or grilled venison.
Please note this wine is only available up to half dozen lots, or in a mixed dozen.
