Straight out of The Barossa, this chardonnay from Taylors Estate Vineyard has that complexity so reminiscent of this varietal. With delightful aromas of white peach, nectarines, and yellow apples, combined with subtle lemon curd/key lime pie zesty citrus notes, and enhanced by hints of cashews and cream, the palate offers fresh flavours of peach, citrus and tropical fruit overlaying a silky mouthfeel. Those fresh stone fruit flavours combine with a salty minerality, notes of ginger and cream, and an underlying toastiness, to offer a rich and flavourful palate with a long persistent finish. Try this wine with grilled swordfish au jus, an Asian stir-fry, or freshly shucked oysters served with a wedge of lime.
Please note this wine is only available up to half dozen lots, or in a mixed dozen.
